Haleon is a global consumer health company based in the United Kingdom, with deep expertise in science-led innovation across oral health, pain relief, respiratory, digestive health, and vitamins.
The Challenge
The challenge focuses on identifying safe, effective pediatric pain relief solutions tailored to young children (2–12 yrs). It aims to explore:
- Palatable, low-dose oral formats and needle-free delivery systems for rapid, easy relief
- Non-drug or hybrid approaches, including wearables, botanical actives, or smart devices
- Technologies that improve dosing precision, onset time, palatability/acceptance, convenience, safety profile, or caregiver guidance
The ultimate goal is to deliver safe, effective, and accessible over-the-counter pain relief solutions for children, combining low-dose or non-drug approaches with caregiver-friendly design.
Reward
Successful applicants can receive 6-month funded project, ranging from $25,000 to $100,000, including access to Haleon’s scientific expertise and potential for expanded partnership opportunities based on results.
